The day of the eggs! I prefer two fried eggs, but when I need to avoid some calories, I make them an omelet and use less oil.


As always, a salad is there, tomatoes with olive oil, etc., and a slice or two of whole wheat bread. Wine of course, or beer.



Now sometimes I make this exception, to fry also bacon, a rather useless but tasty kind of a “meat”, in which case I fry my eggs in bacon's fat without adding oil.


Of course on Wednesdays I never have eggs as a breakfast!
