Install free chess app for Android without annoyances
Who wouldn’t like an absolutely free chess app for Android phones and tablets? Personally, I can’t live without a chess app on my phone. This one offers three input methods, the touchscreen of course, and also the keyboard (by writing the coordinates) or the trackball.
The app allows navigation to various points of the game to study or to just undo your mistake and try a little better. It will also let you export, import, share a game in PGN/FEN format.
Regarding gaming itself, the app recognizes threefold repetitions, fifty moves, etc. A nice feature is the support of XBoard, WinBoard and Universal Chess Interface, letting you connect to other engines. You can also connect to chessboards such as DGT, Millennium and Certabo.
