Root Words contains also flash-card and multiple choice tests in case you’d like to test yourself or students and supports the creation of a favorites list.
As you would expect from such an app, it offers also examples of word use besides definitions and expositions of various meanings. It gives also the pronunciation of words.
Especially if you are a student, or in any way interested seriously in English etymology, usually going back to Greek and Latin, you will find this app really useful.
