Wave Splitter is a freeware utility that allows you to extract a sample from a .wav file without loading it into memory.

No matter how big the source wave file is, if you want to sample a part of it, you can do it quickly without wasting RAM.

Select your wave file, give a name to the wave file you want to save, or drag and drop the input file from Windows Explorer so that Wave Splitter will write the path for you.

There is also an option of normalizing the part you are extracting.
