Iconix eMail ID adds visual identity to email, allowing you to quickly spot messages that have been verified as coming from that sender. Truemark icons reduce the risk of email fraud by confirming the source of the sender.

When an email arrives, Iconix eMail ID uses industry standard technologies like Domain Keys and Sender ID which are backed by companies such as Cisco, Microsoft and Yahoo!, to verify the authenticity of the message. The email sender is checked against a list of registered senders with Iconix.

Once an email has passed Authentication and Identification steps, a Truemark icon is displayed in your inbox beside the sender of the message.

Of course, you don’t need this tool to identify a mail with porn or viagra ads, but if a mail comes e.g. from PayPal, or from a Bank, etc, you would like to be sure about the identity of the sender.
