Install EpubReader free Firefox extension, to read epub documents
EPUBReader is a free Firefox extension that will let you read ePub files in the browser, without installing additional software! If you click on a link to an ePub-file, you are normally prompted by the Firefox “save as” dialog. With EPUBReader installed, the ePub-file is downloaded, processed and displayed. EPUBReader only supports ePub-files without DRM protection.
If you have already stored an ePub-file on your disk, you can open it via the Firefox menu “File/File open” or by dragging the ePub-file on the Firefox window. If you click on the zoom-buttons, you can decrease/increase the font-size.
Everytime you download an ePub-file on a webpage or open a local stored ePub-file, an entry to the library-page is added. If you want to read the ePub-file again, just go to the library-page and open it from there. The ePub-file opens faster than the first time, because no processing is done.
You can change the appearance of the book content and the Table of Contents in the peferences dialog. EpubReader will let you read but not convert an epub document to some other format.
