ObjectDock allows you to add shortcuts, programs and running tasks into an attractive and fun animated taskbar.

It can even hide Windows taskbar and function as its replacement (you will miss the tray area though; system tray replacement is included only in the plus version of ObjectDock, which is not free).

If you work mainly with the keyboard, ObjectDock will not meet your needs; you must consider other free tools that will launch your favorites, such as Free Launch Bar, Launchy and Express Menu.

If you use the mouse all the time, ObjectDock if fine – and it is fun indeed! You can install it even if only for the fun of it – in case you feel confident your processor can provide some more resources. You can also combine it with Taskbar Control, to hide and show the native Windows taskbar at will using a keyboard shortcut.
