Free DVD Ripper Ultimate (named also Platinum) is a very easy to use, powerful and really free (without tricks) DVD ripper. Upon installation you will be asked to install also a toolbar, but you can refuse and continue with the DVD ripper without problems.

Used as a DVD Audio Extractor it would be the best I’ve tried so far, if it provided an important option, now not available. It will let you select which chapter(s) to extract, but if you select more than one it will save them all as a single audio file, which sometimes is wanted, sometimes not. An option of saving each DVD chapter in a separate audio file is necessary. Right now you need to save your chapters one by one, if you prefer to have them distinct. Beyond this, it is a great program, with many options, easy to use, working, and fast.
