Prevent cursor jumps while typing on your laptop, with Touchpad Blocker

Notebook users sometimes suffer, when they try to type fast while their touchpad is enabled, because the cursor might be jumping to another paragraph whenever they place their hand accidentally on the touchpad. Touchpad is useful, but it’s located right under your hands when you are typing. Accidental touch by palm or wrist moves the caret to another place.

Touchpad Blocker is a free and small application that solves this problem. It automatically disables mouse buttons, forcing a very small delay, if some key has been pressed on the keyboard.

Clicks are ignored just for a few moments, but that’s enough to prevent your cursor from involuntary jumping.

You can set the length of delay in milliseconds, and there is a customizable keyboard shortcut to switch touchpad blocking on and off.
