The GodFather is a program to Rename, update Tags, restructure files on hard disk, create/merge playlists, encode-decode with LAME/Ogg Vorbis/MpcEnc, export/import to/from file, play audio files and organize them in a library.

Features: Batch rename of files using Tag/Filename/Folder name/Audio file information. Undo function. -Select specific fields to be updated. -Filter files by the existence of tags. -Delete all Tags or any of them.

Create/merge playlists with preview support or simply find and listen. -Encode/decode with LAME, Ogg Vorbis or mpcenc (trans code without losing tag information) -Restructure the files on the hard disk (copy, move or even create shortcuts ) in new user defined location based on Tag field information. -Find duplicate files. -Export files in delimited, fixed length format, Simple HTML or multiple pages using user defined templates.

Internal player with 16 band equalizer. -Display tag info/lyrics/pictures while playing, option to display pictures from folders. -Automatically search allmusic.com. -Album/filename rename & update using freedb.org or allmusic.com, Amazon, and custom sites -Amazon image grabber. -Custom web sites parsing. -Custom file filtering using Tag fields/bitrate (multiple user defined filters are supported with and/or functionality); Wildcard support.

Although the program is created by a Greek, it can not recognize file names in Greek characters! Besides this, some files are identified as not-existing! It is rich in features but difficult to use and with faults (even bitrate is not always recognised correctly)
