Defender Control is a free and portable application that disables Defender’s Real Time protection,and it keeps it disabled contrary to what the OS may want. Pressing a button you can enable it again easily.

It includes all the essentials: file, email and web antivirus; automatic updates, self-defense; quarantine; and so on. It is also lighter on system resources and quicker than its big brothers.

iKill will help you protect yourself from removable drive viruses. It works by scanning your PC for the presence of removable drives. If AutoProtect is enabled and viruses are found, iKill will automatically delete the files present on the drive, otherwise you will be asked if you want the suspected files deleted.

WinPatrol monitors important system areas that are commonly altered by many malicious programs. This includes the startup groups (registry and startup folder), cookies and active tasks. You can terminate processes and enable or disable startup programs. The cookie monitoring option allows you to automatically delete cookies based on a keyword found in the cookie name.
