Download RegEditX, to tweak the Windows registry
RegEditX extends the standard Windows Registry Editor (Regedit).
A combo box under the menu bar tracks the registry keys which you have viewed or edited. The combo box also lets you Cut, Copy, and Paste keys to and from the Windows clipboard.
Many online documents contain references to keys; you can copy these references to the clipboard and paste them into the combo box to instantly navigate there.
The list columns are “automagically” resized to optimally show key values – no more mouse gyrations to resize columns as you navigate to different keys.
Run RegEditX from any command-line (or open the Start menu and select Run) by typing “RegEditX” optionally evenĀ ”RegEditX <start key>”.
RegEditX won’t remain a freeware after Beta versions stop and version 1 is available. Therefore I can’t recommend it for a permanent solution. Try instead a pure and great freeware registry editor, such as RegAlyzer.
