Great Firefox Extensions
Excellence AwardIf you visit some web sites regularly, every day or every week, you will find that Morning Coffee is a great Firefox extension. It stores sets of bookmarks by day and opens the appropriate ones in tabs for you depending on what day it is. It installs as a button (but can be changed to a toolbar), where clicking “Load My Morning Coffee” will load up the day’s sites, “Add My Morning Coffee” (and it’s associated drop-down menu) will add the current site to the appropriate day (or every day, if you don’t specify) and “Configure Morning Coffee” presents you with options.
To share interesting web pages with your friends on Facebook and other top social networks, use Socializer! for Firefox. This nice and small Firefox extension will let you place an elegant button at the toolbar of Firefox to submit any page you like to social networks, Google Plus, even by eMail or using html code you can paste on your site or blog.
Session Manager allows you to save the current state of Firefox (history, text data, cookies) and return to that state at any later moment. Besides the manually saved states, Session Manager automatically stores the current state in case of a crash. It also allows you to reopen the 10 last closed windows and tabs.
Tab Mix Plus enhances Firefox’s tab browsing capabilities. It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows. It will let you load your home page each time you open a new (blank) tab, open search results or bookmarks in a new tab by default, and much more. Note that its session manager is not that good, perhaps you’ll need to disable it and use Session Manager instead (see above).

You will be able to choose between 36 currencies (conversion rates are read once a day from the Central European Bank). Change adds a toolbar to Firefox, which, however, can be hidden once the currency settings are set. For an easier solution, just bookmark the free on-line currency converter.
AnyColor changes the browser’s appearance. It’s customizable, allowing you to choose your own colors and preview them immediately – select background images for the top and bottom part of the browser’s main window, choose one of the built-in appearance presets or create your own, create “appearance scripts” and change the browser’s appearance using dynamically generated content.
