Display the currently active language on the desktop

In case that you use two or more languages you may like to identify easily the active one, avoid trying to locate the indicator to know what language is active.

Windows shows (two letters of) the active language in the taskbar, which may prove difficult to locate and read when you need it. To solve this problem you can have Windows display language information isolated on the desktop, wherever you find it convenient.

Click on the language initials in the taskbar and select the option to “display the language bar”, then move it anywhere you like.

You can even have it display the complete name of the active language — for US English this would be: EN English (United States) — which will make your life a lot easier.

Enjoy!
