Holiday / Christmas Lights is a small and free application created by Don Metzler, that will let you enjoy a nice row of Christmas lights at the top side of your desktop.

You can choose the shape of the lights (if they will be Stars or Bulbs, Bells, etc) and their color. The program includes even a small calendar you can use to plan your Christmas days.

Christmas  Lights will let you also decide if they are going to flash (in many modes) or stay still, play some music, run a screen saver with snow falling, and more… – all of this in a download of just 150 KB – for Windows 95 and later (it works even on 7, but not without some problems).

To configure or close Christmas Lights run the executable again. In the control panel of Christmas Lights you can customize everything, apply your changes, or quit the program.

You can combine Christmas Lights with high quality free Christmas wallpapers — and, if you are on Windows 7 or Vista, get also the Icon of the Christ, a great gadget, that will even let you open the New Testament on a random chapter for daily (or more frequent) reading and inspiration.
