Right click to convert video and audio with Oxelon Media Converter

Oxelon Media Converter is a free program that will let you convert (even by right-clicking) video or audio files between several formats. Video Formats supported: 3GP, 3G2, ASF, AVI, DV, DVD MPEG2, FFM, FLV, GIF, MOV, MP4, MPEG1, MPEG2 PS, MPEG2 TS, NUT, PSP, RAW YUV, RM, SVCD MPEG2, SWF, VCD MPEG1, VOB, YUV4MPEG, M1V, M2V, M4V. Audio Formats: AC3, AAC, AIFF, AMR, AU, FLAC, MMF, MP2, MP3, OGG, VOC, WAV.

The program is one of few video/audio encoding tools that can use four threads to take advantage of multi-processor systems. You can adjust maximal amount of threads in the Settings. Integration with Windows Explorer allows you to right-click on selected files, choose “Oxelon – Convert to Video” or “Oxelon – Convert to Audio”, then select the target format.

You can use Oxelon Media Converter to prepare video files for uploading to YouTube. For this purpose, convert your files to AVI format (using XviD for video, MP3 for audio). If you want to quickly make available a small video file for watching in the browser directly from your website, then convert it to SWF format — choose minimal bitrates, adjust Width x Height to minimize the size, and then upload the converted SWF file to your web server. Another approach is to convert a video file to FLV format and use some flash-based media player to play the FLV file within your web pages.

If you have a collection of video clips with songs, you can extract music from these files and preserve exact audio quality.
